On Friday's at my work (Creative Avenues), we've been giving the kids a part of the world to learn about, both musically, actively, and of course, artistically. Thanks to the fact that one of my best friends (and sister in spirit!) is Australian, I was able to get a few pointers from her before making up some examples for the kids.

This, is my version of an Aboriginal Dot Painting. I tried to stay as true as I could while keeping it simple for the kids! Earth tones are used because well, they didn't have any sort of fancy paint did they? I also didn't sign it, because they don't! And! I kept things natural. This one, is some water pools I figure!

Done in acrylic with paint brushes and q-tips for the dots on canvas board!
